Regular Contributors

We love to share the experience of biologists with their peers and prospective scientists. If you can commit to contributing regular blogs, and would like to share your experience as a researchers and as an advocate for diversifying science, click the link below!

Requirements  Regular contributors must become part of the BIO-Diversity Network and contribute two or more blogs per year describing aspects of their research, outreach or both to a broad audience. Regular contributors should also be willing to answer relevant questions or comments posted to their blogs.

Mentors

If you are a professional in biological field and would like to connect directly with URM students interested in biology careers, consider being listed as a mentor. Mentors communicate with students that express an interest in the mentor's field of expertise. This can entail giving advice about appropriate coursework and research experience in order to be competitive in the field, providing introductions to local scientist for the student to connect with, or providing research experiences themselves.

Requirements  Mentors must become part of the BIO-Diversity Network and agree to be identified as potential mentors. Mentor status can be removed at any time at the mentors request.

One-Time Contributors

If you would like to share your experience, but cannot commit to contributing regular blogs, consider a one-time entry! We understand that sometimes experiences are difficult but important to share, so one-time contributions can also be published anonymously.

Requirements  One-time contributors must become a part of the BIO-Diversity Network and contribute a Blog describing their research, outreach or both to a broad audience. Ideally, these contributors would be willing to answer relevant questions or comments posted to their blogs. Scientists at any stage are welcome to contribute.
